Caritas Krefeld protects its residents with the SmartXcan.

Especially for older or sick people, an infection by corona or COVID-19 is far more dangerous than for young and healthy people. We still remember the frightening pictures from the media. During the search for possible protective measures, the Krefelder Caritasheime gGmbHbecame aware of our fever scanner SmartXcan.
After a short discussion and clarification of the open questions with Stephan Kehlen and our trade partner P&W Netzwerk GmbH & Co. KG, 10 of the popular fever scanners were finally ordered.
The following 3 points were decisive for the purchase decision in favour of the SmartXcan:
When entering the homes, all visitors are now asked to disinfect their hands, enter their names in a list and of course measure their body temperature or fever with the SmartXcan.
Thanks to these and other protective measures, visitors are allowed to enter the homes again. The joy of the elderly is great.
“The SmartXcan works very reliably and helps us to control access to our facility. The protection of our residents is extremely important to us and they appreciate this. All our employees measure their body temperature when entering the building and receive immediate feedback”, reports Ms Kühn.
“The residents themselves, however, are of course measured directly by our employees. Every now and then, curious senior citizens also test the SmartXcan themselves,” she added with a slight smile.
Conclusion: To protect people in old people’s homes from contagious virus infections such as COVID-19, the automatic “Made in Germany fever scanner” SmartXcan from Kentix is an ideal aid.
