The SmartXcan is used for contactless and safe body temperature measurement of employees and visitors of the Nahe-Hunsrück workshops. Elevated body temperature is a common warning signal for viral diseases. The reliable detection of fever supplements the Covid -19 protective measures already introduced in NHW; such as wearing protective masks, keeping a minimum distance or hand hygiene through regular washing and disinfection.

The Nahe-Hunsrück workshops have been business partners of Kentix for some time. In the field of electrical assembly, disabled people provide a high quality and quality-assured work performance, which also improves and develops their professional skills. At the beginning of the corona pandemic in March 2020, the authorities also prohibited workshop employees from entering and working in the facility. In order to maintain the supply chains of corporate customers, the work education specialists took over production and were thus able to secure existing Kentix orders.
