Taking a temperature has been part of every doctor’s visit since the beginning of the Corona pandemic.
In Bernd Dalheimer’s general practice, the Kentix SmartXcan has been in use for exactly this purpose since October 2020. For the doctor from Germany and his staff, the device has become a valuable helper during this time.
Upon entering the practice or treatment room, a fully automatic and contactless measurement of the body temperature is carried out. Only in the case of an increased temperature or a measurement error does the practice staff have to take a follow-up measurement with an ear thermometer. This also avoids unnecessary contacts and protects the health of staff and patients.
