KentixONE: Newly developed platform makes physical security simple
IoT-based all-in-one-solution replaces eight traditional security systems – suitable for all industries
Idar-Oberstein, August 1, 2022 +++ Kentix, the specialist for holistic and scalable IoT solutions to protect business-critical infrastructures, launches an innovation in the field of security technology on 1 August: KentixONE. It is a completely newly developed, future- oriented platform that transforms security technology from the analogue to the digital world. KentixONE comprises both the actual heart of the system, namely the intuitive software, and all hardware components.
Today, every area of daily life is – at least partially – digitalised. But security technology is lagging behind. The analogue systems are not compatible with each other and often prove complicated and time-consuming to operate in practice. Only one system instead of eight
KentixONE replaces eight conventional security systems and combines them in one IoT- based platform. The system thus fits seamlessly into existing IT structures. Installation and commissioning are therefore quick and easy. KentixONE brings together the essential areas of access control, intrusion alarm, early fire detection, video surveillance, environmental, power and network monitoring as well as the processing of external fault messages in just one system. More than 40 hazards can be monitored proactively with KentixONE. Fires, for example, can be detected days before they even start thanks to Kentix’s proprietary MultiSensor technology.
Intuitive operation, unlimited expansion
All hardware components are supplied with KentixONE already integrated. This means that there is no need for the user to install the software. Thanks to modern web technologies, setting up and operating KentixONE is very uncomplicated. All that is needed is a browser-enabled end device to access the hardware and call up the intuitive web GUI. The interface presents itself as an all-round information management system for physical security (PSIM). The user can easily find his way around and can also overview large and distributed infrastructures at a glance. KentixONE thus saves time and personnel resources.
In your own network, in the cloud and as an app
As a flexible solution, KentixONE is available as an on-premise and cloud application for browsers and smartphones. KentixONE is designed to optimally protect corporate information and user data. Important security features such as data encryption, password policies and sabotage alerts are activated by default. Centralised update management ensures continuous security and time savings. Companies that use KentixONE also gain great planning security. Thanks to the technology approach of software defined hardware (SDH), KentixONE is not only always perfectly compatible, but can also be expanded indefinitely in the future.
