Secure data centers with a single system and meet ISO 22237 requirements
Idar-Oberstein, may 10, 2022 +++ Kentix, the specialist in holistic and scalable IoT solutions for protecting mission-critical infrastructure, will unveil an innovation at Data Centre World in Frankfurt, Germany, on May 11 and 12, 2022: KentixONE, the seamless, intuitive platform that brings together eight physical security systems and merges them into one. The outstanding novelty: important parts of ISO 22237 (parts 4 & 6) are fulfilled with less system effort. Even more, KentixONE exceeds the requirements by predictively and automatically monitoring more than 40 hazards.
Common safety technology often does not meet the requirements
Unauthorized access, network failure, water ingress, fire, theft, … the list of dangers that threaten data centers and companies every day is long. In the worst case, there is the threat of a total loss and thus the end of operations. Thus, the desire for comprehensive control and hazard monitoring is enormously high. But often the implementation fails due to the outdated state of security technology or software that is not user-friendly. There are many different systems on the market that are not compatible with each other. Monitoring critical infrastructures thus becomes laborious, time-consuming and complicated, devouring human resources and unnecessarily high budgets. In addition, there are legal or compliance requirements (IT basic protection, ISMS, ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, BAIT, VAIT, etc. and in particular EN 50600 / ISO 22237) that must be met.

KentixONE is characterized by its intuitive operation, requiring only a web browser. The user interface presents itself as an all-round information management for physical security (PSIM). This was precisely the goal of the software development: to put full control in the user’s hands and to make critical infrastructures manageable at a glance.
KentixONE is integrated into all Kentix hardware as standard, with access via web browser on the user’s network. For more flexibility – in addition to the integrated software – KentixONE is also available as a cloud application for browsers and smartphones, enabling easy management of larger and distributed infrastructures.
KentixONE is designed to provide optimal protection for corporate information and user data. Key security features such as data encryption, password policies and sabotage alerts are enabled by default. Centralized update management ensures continuous security and time savings.
