Which platform is best for me?
KentixONE with SiteManager as a Hardware Appliance is recommended for most projects and can manage up to 500 devices. The SiteManager can be mounted flexibly, e.g., on a 35 mm DIN rail or in a 19" rack. An integrated redundancy module with two power supplies ensures a reliable power supply. In the event of network failures, alarms are also sent via SMS. The SIM card required for this is included and must be activated after receiving the device: Activate SIM card.
KentixONE as a Docker container is designed for virtualized environments in the enterprise sector and offers unlimited scalability without device limitations. Provisioning is done via a license key, and the Docker image is installed via the Kentix Docker repository. This variant requires basic knowledge of working with Docker environments.
