Idar-Oberstein, Berlin, October 2025 – ASSA ABLOY has acquired Kentix GmbH, a leading company in digital and IoT access and monitoring solutions for data centers. The company is based in Idar-Oberstein and has around 50 employees.
The merger opens up new opportunities for Kentix in an international environment: access to global markets, expanded resources and ASSA ABLOY’s strong sales network will enable Kentix to offer its innovative solutions even more specifically and broadly in the future.
Managing Director Thomas Fritz sees the integration as an important step towards the future and sustainable growth:

ASSA ABLOY also sees the acquisition as a strategically important step to expand its product portfolio in the field of digital security solutions for data center applications.
